Learn to Love the Water!
Swimmy Baby Swim introduces babies and toddlers to the water in a safe,
supportive and joyful environment !
We believe the first experiences in the water should be calm, playful and full of trust — so children build confidence at their own pace while staying close to a parent.
Through songs, games and gentle movement, our lessons strengthen the parent–child bond and lay the foundation for a lifelong love of swimming.
Our Baby Swim Lessons
Characteristics
1. Small-group, play-based lessons
Each child is different. Small-group sessions give individual attention and plenty of space tomove, while play, songs and games keep every lesson energetic and fun. One instructorcares for up to 10 children per session.
2. Parent and child together
One parent enters the water with their child in every lesson — in both Mummy & Me and Little Swim. Your presence gives emotional security and turns each session into shared, bonding time, building trust as your child meets the water.
3. Foundations for life
Beyond water confidence, lessons develop coordination, balance and early motor skills, and introduce the first habits of water safety — preparing children to continue into formal swimming lessons.

Key Learning Goals in Baby Swimming Lessons
1. Water Familiarity and Comfort
Introduce babies to the water through gentle activities like splashing, singing and playing with toys. Help infants become comfortable with water on their face and ears, laying the groundwork for future skills.
2. Basic Safety and Survival Skills
Encourage breath control through bubble blowing and brief, gentle submersions. Introduce supported back floating, and for older infants, movements like turning to reach the pool edge.
3. Parental Engagement and Bonding
Strengthen the parent–child relationship through shared water activities, while guiding parents on how to safely support their child in the water.
4. Physical and Cognitive Development
Enhance motor skills, coordination and strength through movement in the water, and stimulate cognitive growth through new sensory experiences.
5. Preparation for Future Swim Instruction
Build the comfort and basic skills needed for independent swimming, and encourage listening and following simple instructions to ease the transition into formal swim lessons.
